45 - 20 win for Hornets - a great performance and result, which makes last week's loss even more galling, especially with another loss by Swinton.
What was the crowd? Let's hope we get some of them back for the next home game.

What a difference a week makes? I honestly expected another close result like our last two meetings this season, but our first half performance was almost flawless! After the break we did make a few more mistakes, but managed to keep the lid on Worky's attack in most cases. Got to say Mr Holoran had yet another under-par game and opted for the easy way out putting the Worky player 'on report' rather than dealing with it on his own bat.
Having McDermott back from his Barla tour and Reid showing he can still bring something to the party were a bonus. Gary Middlehurst also had a very good debut and should fit in nicely with the rest of the lads given a couple of weeks?
A BIG well done to all the team for a job well done today, now let's keep it up and who knows where we could end the season?

Good game and well deserved win
Holaran was again a poor and his lack of order
could well have turned the game nasty
and why do we have linesmen/touch judges cos the ref takes NO notice even
if they were to wave the flag !!
Some good performances today and more of the lads back from
injuries in the coming weeks lets hope for a good finish

Poor
Looking on sporting life seems there was
1,021 a far cry from the 10,000 (which a lot of fans didn,t expect)
and your game Riggy had more
But on a brighter note
the idiot who had a go at John last week has been identified
by the elite Hornets investigators

I missed most of the first half with my duties but saw the last two tries.
The second half was very professional and the Town only got a sniff when Mr. Halloran got very picky with his decisions. The main stand side TJ saw some wierd things re our touches but failed completely to see a blatant elbow in the mush!!
STANKY OUT!!!!

Came to the game today and really enjoyed it, excellent performance from the Hornets that only really didn't tick when McDermott wasn't on the field.

Thanks for supporting our effort today Matt, yes we really did look good for long periods. I think our main problem is 'leaking' points like we did today from 8 to 20 for Town.

Get over that and we'll be 'cooking'.

Wouldn't worry too much about the defence as certainly one of the Workington tries should never have been allowed in the memory of man - think the ref gave a new set of six when it seemed a clear Worky knock on!
