In tonights paper, charlton signalled out stack,low,carter and kaighan for criticism . I personally think that this is very demoralising to the players to be signalled out, especially as these have consistently been our better performers this season. How can he possibly comment on these 4 when the likes of whitehead are poor week in, week out and never get a mention from him. I think he wants to have a look at himself, he consistently picks players who just aren't performing to the standard needed, and let's all be honest if stack, kaighan and pedley aren't performing in attack them the rest arent good enough to step up to the plate. Why drop dawesy, and keep gus in who is having a dip in form. Our biggest problem is our line speed, and I'm sorry but that is down to the coaching as well. I haven't once heard charlton come out and say it was his fault, but he's been very quick to dump the blame on our star performers.

I have to agree with much of what wonky says because our coach, if he wanted to single out any players, could have picked more worthy names to name. Personally, I thought Stack and Carter were okay and certainly putting effort in even if they didn't reach their own high standards. Our problem is that we carry passengers every week and some weeks we get away with it and others, like yesterday, we don't and it shows.

I was sat near the Town bench yesterday and I can't honestly say that I saw much coming from the coaches. We didn't seem to have a Plan B or even C or D or, if we did, they all looked remarkably the same!!!!!! Maybe our coach would like to explain why most teams we play seem faster in defensive line speed than us, or faster in passing the ball along the line than us, or have more rehearsed moves and dummy runners than us??? Our play in the first half yesterday looked as if we were in slow motion compared to Rochdale.

After last week I think many Town fans started to get carried away thinking that we could grab one of the top 3 places in the league but after yesterday I think the concensus of opinion will be that we will be finishing 5th or 6th if we don't strengthen this squad. Surely, any coach should have suitable contacts at other clubs that he can call on for assistance or are we the exception to that system?

I agree also,I thought when he slagging the same players on the radio that it was bad work,it does seem charlos plan b is knock there heads off which isn't very good is it..any time I hear of any half time team talk It's always charlo going off on one which as me asking what does oggy do???answer well not a lot really..

I think it's very unfair for Charlo to lay the blame on individuals, it doesn't do much for team spirit which is one thing we are going to need in the run in. Jarred Stack has been magnificent this season, so for Charlo to single him out for one below par performance is out of order.
Charlo mentioned that the nines comp might have taken it out him, the question should be asked as to why he was playing in virtualy every game. Most would agree he's our stand out player, how many games did haven's top two players play, Mcavoy and Doran ? Town's coaching staff should have had him wrapped in cotton wool rather than risk injury in a meaningless competition. I think it's about time Charlo took a long hard look at what he's doing with this team, we know what they are capable of so if he can't motivate them we need to find someone who can.

Hamzat, palfrey, smith, isakka all played more than once but Seeds did'nt use that as an excuse for a below par performance yesterday. Dont agree with having a pop in the paper tho that should be done behind closed doors

I think a few need to come along to the security blanket thread as they seem to be spitting quite a few dummies out and they'll be tears before bedtime

To single out Stack really isn't the way to go, everyone, seemingly bar the coach, knows why, and even if they all didn't have the best games on Sunday the real weaknesses lie elsewhere its pretty clear and Low plays better inside Miller from what I've seen.

There is definitely an art to coaching and from what I can see its about getting the best from your players. Obvious innit

Try and keep up. (ifyouonlyknew don't go too hard on the poor little soul, he's a lot to put up with having to watch that heap every so often)

It may help you if you check who's said what. Then you may not look a complete and utter numpty.

Who said stack is going home in a few weeks? Probably at the end of the season, as we all already knew, but I doubt he will go before then. Jacko not playing is no big loss and as for Matty who gives a ######, that story is as old as the pyramids
