The run in (assuming Leigh and Fev with be in the top 2) ...

Barrow (25 pts):
Hunslet (H)
Dewsbury (A)
Sheffield (H)
Hunslet (A)
Toulouse (A)

Batley (32 pts):
Featherstone (H)
Widnes (A)
Halifax (H)
Toulouse (H)
Sheffield (A)

Halifax (23 pts):
York (H)
Toulouse (H)
Batley (A)
Widnes (H)
York (A)
Hunslet (A)

Sheffield (28 pts):
Leigh (A)
Featherstone (A)
Featherstone (H)
Hunslet (A)
Barrow (A)
Batley (H)
York (H)

Widnes (27 pts):
Toulouse (A)
Batley (H)
Leigh (H)
Halifax (A)
Featherstone (H)
Featherstone (A)

As daft as it sounds, looking at the remaining games, there's still a chance we could finish in the top 4. Widnes, Sheffield and Batley have far a harder run-in than us (on paper of course). We need to get into a good vein of form asap, but if we win our remaining 5 fixtures, that would give us 40 points. Stranger things have happened.

This is the ultimate in straw-grasping! Especially after you've just lost at home to Fax.

I don't see how it's straw grasping. I've seen nothing this season that an in-form Barrow side should fear.
The sides above WILL drop points against each other.

Form throughout the season counts for nothing in a playoff system.

I'd be more concerned with your run-in if I were you.

Featherstone (H)
Widnes (A)
Halifax (H)
Toulouse (H)
Sheffield (A)

You might consider yourself fortunate to get 7 points out of those.

Looking at the games left I reckon

Sheffield 41
Halifax 39
Barrow 38
Batley 38
Widnes 37

Fev and Leigh to be in top 2

Should be an interesting finish to what's been an interesting season

Fax have only lost once in around 7 games. They have won at Fev, Leigh and Barrow so hardly anything for Barrow to feel ashamed about. The thing is Fax and Barrow have an easier run in. Sheffield for example have to face Fev & Batley at home but also Fev, Leigh and Barrow away plus tough games against York and Hunslet. Barrow can easily finish above Sheffield if they get themselves sorted

Sometimes the hardest teams to beat are the ones scrapping at the bottom of the league, all of whom either have or could beat a top six side! Be warned

That's what makes the Championship such an interesting league; it's competitive, any team can beat any other on the day and there's always something to play for*.

*Except promotion, that is.

None of our remaining games is going to be easy + we havnt exactly set this league alight this season have we ?

Hunslet fighting against relegation (if there is going to be any that is)

Dewsbury (ditto above)

Sheff (good side)

Toulouse (good side on their day and knowing our luck they will hit a vein of form when we play them  )

Lee
Raiders have risen from the ashes
