I am at a loss as to why our coach in tonight's N & S is talking about a player we have released and telling everyone what a good player he is? I would much rather read about what the coach is doing to strengthen the squad for a very difficult run in to the end of the season. Has he lost the plot slagging off four of our top players one day and then the very next day "bigging up" a player who we have just released to Barrow.
Short of news!

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.
