Last I heard of Dessie he was teaching PE in Bolton - that was from my father in law who used to live opposite him and was admittedly a while ago. I do know that he's involved in coaching amateurs and is definitely involved with the Jamaica side.

I don't know what George Fairbairn does now but I saw him at Millennium Magic in Edinburgh and he might just have had a few. He was insisting he knew me and treated me like a lost brother, even though I'd never met the bloke. I suggested he might recognise me from the Wilderspool terraces circa 1986 but he was too bladdered to be amused.

Harry Pinner was a pub landlord in Grappenhall, Warrington, last time I heard. Probably still wearing his headband behind the bar...

Huge Waddle works for the Home Delivery Network parcel service in Carlisle.

Dessie was working on the commercial/community side at Rochdale Hornets last year, but I think his main job is as a fitness conditioner.

I see Dean Carroll, the ex-Bradford, Warrington and Carlisle scrum-half in Batley Irish club every Thursday night, normally in quite an intoxicated state.
The great Neil Fox regularly dines with his wife in The Mermaid fish and chip restaurant in nearby Morley.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

Mark Gamson eh? There's a forgotten stalwart of the game. Didn't he play right through from Sheffield Eagles first season until about 1997 with the same club? Batley signed him when he left the Eagles but he didn't play a single first team game for us IIRC.

Steve Hesford works in advertising sales these days, and every time you go in to a pub in Blackpool there's a 1 in 3 chance he'll be in there enjoying a pint!
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:

Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.

Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.
