'The Centurion' is the matchday magazine of Leigh Centurions. Here's a flavour of what is in Sunday's edition. And don't worry, although space is devoted to last week's final, there is still plenty about Sheffield, and general RL topics, for the visitor/neutral.

If you're coming over on Sunday, have a safe journey.

For Sunday’s game against Sheffield, ‘The Centurion’ includes: -

CEO TREVOR BARTON explains the set-up of a Professional Support Group, at Leigh.

IAN MILLWARD looks back on Sunday’s dramatic cup final victory, and divulges his thoughts on Martyn Ridyard’s late, winning play.

ROBBIE HUNTER-PAUL takes us through his Cup Final day

ALAN EDGE and DAVE PARKINSON take a different look at today’s visitors, Sheffield. (it doesn’t half complicate this job, when we play teams twice in a season at home!)

DAVE PARKINSON reports on the Batley and Halifax games. There just wasn’t space for him to also report on the Dewsbury and Toulouse games. (that’s what happens when you have a run of away games!)

JAMES GORDON has a rant over the lack of promotion opportunities for Championship sides and the detrimental effect on teams like Leigh – and who are we to argue with him?!

TONY WILLIAMS questions those fans who query the worth of the NRC – and who are we to argue with him, either?!

ALAN EDGE replaces his knotted holiday hankie, with the old flat cap to comment on the managerial merry-go-round at Barrow, and reminisce about 60’s music.

I’m delighted to report that MAURICE JONES and WAYNE KEEGAN, got their press passes for the NRC Final, and produced a spectacular array of images of the event. For obvious reasons they won’t all fit int the programme, but I’ll be able to look at them again and again and……..

All this, plus the usual squad information, and regular features from LISA and the Club’s Lottery, Commercial, and Community departments, for just £2.50.
