With McDonald now out injured were down to bare bones. Surely we have to be looking at bringing in a player or two immediately. These are crunch games, and now is the time to act.

I'm sure the only players we can bring in now are loanees from other clubs. We have known long enough that our squad was small and needed topping up but we chose not to do so. I hope that turns out to be a good shrewd decision by the board or else it could prove to be the death knell losing out on promotion. Can anyone tell us fans what benefits we have had from the much lauded tie-up with HKR?????
Back to the subject and we are all asking the same questions - will Kris Coward be back? Will we ever see Matty playing again for Town?? How do other clubs manage to recruit players???

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Matty bak in two weeks is what I heard. Would only make the bench for me. Peds is towns number one hooker in my eyes. Matty wud have to come off the bench and prove himself.

Its not even so much about how good of a player he is(we all know he's quality) we just need sone bodies on the pitch. Having Marshall on the bench coming onto the wing is a complete waste of an interchange, and with bamber and cotter we are massively undersized on the interchange
