Only mobile telephone updates from Walshy today from Oldham because of the lack of broadcasting facilities at the ramshackle Whitebank Stadium.
However, the whole match is being covered on the Oldham Community Radio - Here

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Superb from town. I thought we would be lucky to get the bp, but a win is fantastic. If we can win our 2 home games then a top 4 should be ours.
the futures bright, the futures blue and white

A great result for Town today against a team that put 36 on Keighley in their last home game. The Oldham people make much of the slope at their ground but Town played "uphill" in the second half and were able to hang on in there for the win.
I hope that we now believe in ourselves and kick on to the play-offs. Come on Town.

Great stuff Town, best result of the season IMO
I would have been chuffed with a bonus point but the lads have made a few of us eat our words. I hope this gives them the confidece to go on and win all of their remaining games. They are certainly capable. Good result for Keighly today, it should be a cracker at DP in two weeks time. C'mon Matty get yourself back down...you know it makes sense
