I've been speaking to the Transport Manager at work about getting a major haulage firm involved in the moving of the stands from Scarborough to Fev. Early days yet but Covo is in negotiation with my contact and things are looking promising
'Hint' its the one who have a stadium named after them and who are curently filming a new tv series about their business. Imagine the headlines now, other firms move pallets and boxs, we move stadiums. Would be good publicity for us too if it came off.

Has anyone been to Scarborough this week? Took anymore pictures. The roof of one stand must be nearly off by now. Surely work will be starting at Fev soon to remove the railway end terrace.
You must be joking. What on earth do you think we four volunteers, including two pensioners, are capable of?. All seating removed and main supports removed from the roof area of one stand. We require more volunteers and although appreciating work committments,it is dissapointing to witness this lack of support.

I really appreciate the effort people have put into the stadium. If I lived in fev I'd be well tempted to help in the summer holls... When the stuff is transported to fev I'd be happy to do some donkey work though.

The removal of the stands has been going on for the past three weeks and is continuing. You must be joking. What on earth do you think we four volunteers, including two pensioners, are capable of?. All seating removed and main supports removed from the roof area of one stand. We require more volunteers and although appreciating work committments,it is dissapointing to witness this lack of support.
More help is always needed. If anyone wants to help you could get in touch with the club.

Terry appealed for volunteers over the microphone in the clubhouse last Sunday night but it was Terry, Bob and Pete yet again that turned up, and not been disrespectfull they are not spring chickens, so some young blood wouldnt go amiss
My apologies, Ive been wanting to come and help but its always coincided with university and appointments and what not.
