The game was a very close affair all through which was testament to how fit both sets of players were as both ran their blood to water today! The Scorpion's fans are a very friendly bunch and both teams were clapped from the field by both sets of fans.
I think Hornets just about deserved the win and should have got it tied up a bit earlier if Reid hadn't dropped the ball when all he had to do was put it down! It was end to end stuff and if anyone wants any more proof of our squads desire to win then they are hard to please.
We collected almost £100 to put to the cost of the overnight stay as well.
Off to Gateshead next week for hopefully another three points.
