Graeme Mattinson has been missing from our team for quite awhile now and I don't think anyone is fooled any more with his name being added to the injured list of players. A thread has cropped up again on the Haven site with all the usual reasons why he isn't playing, such as fell out with Town, fell out with the game in general, and how he only left Haven for more money, etc, etc.
I believe whatever the reason for him being missing the club should come clean and tell the fans whether we are likely to see him play again for Town this season or next. I was told at one time that he hadn't fallen out with Town or them with him but it is frustrating knowing we have a very good player on our books at a vital time of the season that we are unable to use. Can we please sort it out and let's move on?

Yep totally agree Keith,I'm all for having patience with the lad but he as to be fair to the club its a 2 way thing...

I would terminate his contract immediately, with the wages Matty will be on we could bring in a very good player at this level. I don't think it has to be a hooker as in my opinion we have the best hooker in the division, and it seems to work with bamber spelling him. Our results have certainly picked up using this strategy. I'm sure we would be in with a shout for someone like catic who is very experienced and has been one of the form players in the championship. Come on town act now before it's too late

Ive been told a very different reason for his absence than all of the ones that have been mentioned both here and elsewhere and IF and it is an IF what I have been told is true then it is upto the player as he seems to have good reasons for his absence
