With no Championship and Championship 1 matches being shown on Sky for the next 5 seasons, how many fans are going to take out extra payments to get Premier Sports channel in order to watch these games?
I have the Sports package from Sky not only for the RL but also for the cricket, football, golf, etc, etc, and I won't be cancelling that in order to take out Premier Sports, so have our representatives once again let us, the lower league clubs and fans, down?
I can only see the gap between SL and the Championships getting wider and wider with this move and if SL isn't a closed shop now then it might as well be for without a wealthy backer I can't see many clubs getting all the required boxes ticked and finance being elevated. Why have we all allowed this to happen?

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Premier sports also show the nrl and the coverage is pretty poor, so god only knows what it will be like for our lower tiers.

Yeah suppose you could class there coverage as being poor they could always show 6 games instead of 5 live a weekend ?

I mean the quality of coverage not the quantity. The picture and sound is very poor for a premium sports package, no hd either. Dosent even compare to espn or sky
