Supporters of the Featherstone Rovers Foundation can make donations from as little as £1 up to £10 by texting FEVR11 and either £1,£2,£3,£4,£5 or £10 to 70070 to make their donation. The text message is FREE and all of your donation will be passed to the Featherstone Rovers Foundation.
Community Development Manager Laurabeth Jagger said 'This is a wonderful way for us to raise money as it's speedy, simple and spontaneous. Most people have a mobile phone these days so we expect this to be very popular with our supporters. Our aim initially is to raise £1000 this will enable the Foundation to send two 1st team players into five local schools to deliver a 5 week rugby skills project that will engage 200 local children giving them the chance to be involved in meaningful out of school activities in a safe environment and the opportunityto improve physical skills and life skills such as confidence, team work and improved self esteem'
