Wayne has asked me to convey his thanks and appreciation to all the medical staff who assisted him yesterday after what he feared could have been a serious neck injury at the time?
He also would like to thank both Hornets and Gateshead fans and staff who enquired about his condition after the match.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of......

I'm very glad to hear that Wayne is OK and I seriously doubt any rugby player would leave the field on a stretcher if he wasn't injured.
It's often said that Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured and Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not!
Shame on you Mr. Laughton.
Pugwash.
