It's called knowing how to work this system pal.
This Haven (2010 . . Or whatever they call themselves) have never been bankrupt, and they owe nobody anything.

According to there board it is like the second coming of Christ. 1 muppet actually called haven a success train! Funniest thing I've read all year. To be fair they successfully avoid silverwear every season.

Paul King is a more than useful recruit for Haven in our league and probably just what Haven needed at this stage of the season. We, however, have enough to keep us interested with our own side and how they perform, so let's forget about our neighbours for the time being and get behind Town.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

I agree keith, but what is a man who haven4ever commented on his status has having playing for GB and wakefield super league only 3 weeks ago.If he has got the ability to have played at that higher level what is he doing a haven, surely most of the top clubs in the championship would have taken the lad on instead of haven,he must be getting well paid to have signed for haven that's all i can think of,and to be honest you have got to wonder when making his choice to go to haven why none of the other teams in the higher division did not step in to sign him in on,but good luck to the lad he has made his choice and i wish him all the best.......

I think all the questions you ask troutmaster are valid but at the end of the day that is someone else's problem. Maybe more money than sense, who knows, but he could turn out to be a good signing until the end of the season for them!!!

Well said Keith, I couldn't agree more. Let's get behind the boys tomorrow.Paul King is a more than useful recruit for Haven in our league and probably just what Haven needed at this stage of the season. How do you feel about the disgusting lack of moral fibre at your club, they just wound up the old club leaving a lot of people massively out of pocket and then just start a new one and carry on throwing money about.Desperation for what with 3 games to were in the play offs and could still finish as high as third and that's after starting on minus 9.hardly desperate times
