After reading two articles in the T&S today I am feeling a bit Gutted and very confused after finding out that Town actually lost the Championship final in 1951. ...When I was a kid I used to listen to my mam and Dad telling me tales of the fantastic day they had at Maine Rd watching Town defeat Warrington to win the championship, and how they were all on the pitch celebrating at the final whistle...It seems like they must have had a couple of pale Ales too many (or they were fibbing), because apparently we lost. I feel cheated.

One was in the piece about Vince McKeating where it said that we lost the Championship Final to Warrington!!!!!!!!

I don't the other one.

That should have read T&S and N&S. One was an obituary for Vince McKeating and the other an article in the N&S about Vince's career.
Only joking Helen, we all make mistakes.
