After the debacle at Oldham earlier this year, the fans expected and deserved better. Some serious sorting out needed.
Donny wins, Town wins...we drop.

You lot as supporters are an absolute disgrace to your club. We were singing this afternoon as we piled the points on in the second half. The only response was from your cheerleaders who had the banter with us. You were brilliant girl's well done. Where the hell were yet hairnets fans. Bloody silent as usual go your small numbers. How you can ever come on our message board and try and have any banter with us now cannot be taken seriously
I am still trying to understand your persistent comments on both message boards about the small crowds that we generate, have I missed something somewhere or do your gates numbers several thousand?

Gutted tonight it would seem the days of us giving Oldham a game are long gone
Another gripe I put a post on here a while ago naming players I would sign to strengthen us one of them was Mark McCully,I spoke to Mark today and he said he would have signed for the first club that phoned him - guess what that was Oldham
Could carry on, we have Andy Saywell his face dosent fit at the moment, if he cant offer more than our two wingers today I find that unbelievable
Its alright beatin SW and Gateshead these are the ones that matter

If faces were s h i t, there were 17 today in blue shirts who would have had a severe case of the runswhy dont you go and take your face for a s h i t
As for our singing, we were going for most of the second half, only your cheerleaders responded, and did a good job.

How about of the 900+ crowd tday, we made up over a two thirds of it. Does that answer your question?I am still trying to understand your persistent comments on both message boards about the small crowds that we generate, have I missed something somewhere or do your gates numbers several thousand?

As far as local rivalry goes, the PERFECT irony is that the very last trophy to be lifted at The Weeping Willows, will be lifted by Swinton Lions. Ha! Eat your heart out Salford City Reds
Love from a Swinton fan

I believe the team will get a chance to redeem themselves in the first week off the play offs, followed by games against Workington and Keighley in the final. I have faith in Stankevitch.

Yesterday was shocking, the team with 2 or 3 exceptions looked like they wanted to be somewhere else. Oldham wanted it more and with the squad they have the reslu t was never in doubt. As long as the coach can sort the attitude and find Saywell/Reid/McHugh wherever they are hiding the season is a long way from over.

Totally agree with your comments, there were several players who seemed to have little fight in their bellies and were playing as if the season couldn't end soon enough. I feel sorry for the players that work their socks off, for the good of the team, only to be badly let down by certain team mates. I, too, have complete and utter confidence in the coaching staff and I'm quite sure that they will be working hard to resolve the situation.

This season we have won 10 games the same as for the whole of last season with 2 games left including Gateshead at home. Let's not chuck the baby out with the bathwater eh?

I think that all the 'Monday Morning Quaterbacks' should remember that JS is the one employed to do the coaching of the squad and I think he is probably better qualified than anyone on this thread so let him get on with it!

Of course JS is better qualified than anyone in this thread to coach the team - does that mean as paying fans you cant have an opinion or express disapointment at being played off the park by our local rivals?

I take it you have spoken to John Stankevitch and he has confirmed your appraisal of the situation is correct Gavin, or will you have to eat a large slice of umble pie like the last time you accredited our coach with something he hadn't said.

Jeez you are hard work Andrew - no wonder they couldnt put up with you when you were on the board
For the record I have never accredited the coach with anything he didnt say so get your facts right I mearly accepted the fact that I was a little OTT with one of my postings on that occasion you refer to- i dont call that humble pie just being honest
Which bit of my post do you suggest I should have spoken to JS about on this occasion? What do you want everytime someone has an opinion they run it past someone before posting?

Whatever the result at The Willows, please come and have a pint with us after the game. We Minions of the lower leagues don't have an awful lot to celebrate these days, but Hornets fans are more than welcome to join in the party after the game when the Lions receive the C1 Trophy.
Come on 'Ornits. Give it some wellie in the playoffs. I'll be coming to watch, along with quite a few Swinton fans.

Not sure this post was written with the intention on being so antagonistic but it certainly has had that effect.
Rochdale fans are entitled to express their disappointment in Sunday’s performance as it was appalling. So was the coach who did so through Twitter. Plenty of fans communicated regard the same matter and he didn’t seem to take any offense, instead seeming rather empathetic.
Sitting on a high horse advising other fans what moderate views are right and wrong to express only serves to create a divide and descends into petty arguments.
