CHAMPIONS Swinton will pick up the co-operative Championship 1 trophy after their final game of the season against Rochdale.

And as a gesture to the fans Lions chairman John Kidd has reduced prices to face the Hornets at the Willows on Friday, September 2.

Admission for adults has been halved to £5 (£3 concessions) with accompanied children going free.

“We have had a wonderful season and we want to finish it off in style,” said Kidd.

“We pulled in more than 1,300 supporters for the Keighley game a few weeks ago and we want another good crowd for our last game at the Willows.

“We want it to be a special occasion and with tickets priced at a fiver for adults with kids going free it will be a great evening out for all the family.”

Lets get there in numbers and watch the lads spoil the party.
Success does not consists in never making blunders, but in never making the same one the second time.

Looking forward to seeing you all, should be a great night - you could well win, especially after the last time we played you, but there is one thing for sure you will not spoil the party. Best of luck in the play offs.
