I thought that'd get your attention! :tongue:

But don't panic, it's only for an hour or so! :tongue:

The cheques from the money we raised from the walk will be presented at an evening at Moorside Cricket Club in Swinton, on Tuesday 27 September at 8.00pm.

Shelley from Leukaemia Research, and Vicky from the MNDA, will be there to receive them on behalf of their respective charities.

'Ornits coach John Stankevitch has kindly agreed to do the honours, and there'll be a Q & A session with him as well.

Added to that that'll be a quiz during the evening to keep you amused!

All this for just a couple of quid apiece, and any dosh we make, will be banked as a starter for next year's walk.

Thank you to all those who again contributed to the effort!

I'm spending a week in Jersey swotting up at the local college fr Spelly's 'Brain of Britain' style quiz. My grey matter is aching now at the prospect of his questioning! :blink:
