On current positions we would play Oldham at home first round - not a good prospect after this season's capitulations!
Keighley should get min 3pts from two games for 3rd min. and hopefully beat Haven to keep them out of touch with us.

The Oldham & Haven results will be crucial to our scenario.

Hornets losing, even with a bonus point, could see us away at Haven if they win at Keighley.

A win at Swinton, (then Doncaster need over 75 clear v Gateshead to get 4th), but....those Oldham/Haven results?

So, which is the preferred scenario ?
Second table gives home tie for 2rds - (not sure if 3rd, major semi, is neutral ground). First table = away 2nd rd. unless Donny lost.

4th Donny(W) 40pts
5th Hornets(L+1) 38pts
6th Haven(L+1) 36pts

7th Oldham (L+1) 34pts

4th Hornets (W) 40pts
5th Donny(W) 40pts
6th Haven(L+1) 36pts
7th Oldham (L+1) 34pts

If you finish 4th and won your first game you would also be at home in the next game. If you won again you would then be away to the loser of the 2nd v 3rd game to decide who goes to the Grand Final to play the winner of the 2nd v 3rd game.
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

On form i honestly see it being Whitehaven away for us and you home to Donny in the playoffs, but wouldnt back any team at the minute in the play offs! who knows though the RFL havnt even decided if there is P&R at the minute as far as i know! But whatever good luck!
