Best cover of Sweet Jane, performed by Mott The Hoople. Some characteristic Mick Ralphs guitar work towards the end:-

On a lighter note, from ISIHAC (New Series just started!). 'Girlfriend in a Coma', to the tune of 'Tiptoe through the Tulips'.

Circle Jerks brilliant cover of CCR's Fortunate Son.

No I don't care if you're if you're into different bands

No cause for so much hatred, I'm just a different man

Pull off that cover, I will too, and learn to understand

With music deep inside we'll make world unity our plan

Good version

I was listening to CCR's Willy And The Poor Boys the other day. First time I'd listened to it in ages.

I was listening to CCR's Greatest Hits CD the other day. Excellent but I realised it hasn't got Born On The Bayou on it.

You need to get John's version (or a copy of Bayou Country). That's a major omission .

I like The Sword's cover of ZZ Top's Cheap Sunglasses. They pretty much nail it.

this is a good version of nick caves "the mercy seat" but not a patch on the original.

What does it mean
This tearjerking scene
Beamed into my home
That it moves me so much
Why all the fuss
It's only two humans being.
