Looks like the lad is signing for Fev on Wednesday. Any truth in it?

Also heard Ratcliffe going back to Thornhill. Not enjoying his rugby?

Well done DANNY GRIMSHAW.
No doubt susie will be pleased, he played in every game, and was top try scorer.
LOOKS LIKE HE PUT THE RUN OF BAD INJURIES BEHIND HIM,---must be the South Leeds air.

Hope your side sticks together now that you beat the drop. The worst thing that could happen now is that your best players leave. Grimshaw, Ratcliffe etc.
It's good to win at home, but it's better to win away!

So he can not enjoy his rugby for free
Saw them play in a pre season tournament and most of their lads have played for Hunslet, Dewsbury & York, coached by James Ratcliffe
When I want your opinion, I will remove the gaffer tape

The best stand off weve had at Hunslet since the great Brian Gabbitas and that includes Paul Mannson, Phil Morgan, Ian Cameron and Steve Lane thats how much i rate the kid.Kyle Briggs i rated highly but only played a couple of games but Grimmer this season has been just outstanding in virtually every game.

Sorry KOL-- don't agree with you on all the 5 names you mentioned, but it just shows what good stand offs Hunslet have had over the years. -- here's to the next one.
Re players going to Thornhill -- crikey how much are they paying them?
Anyway heres nothing to stop players playing conferece rugby in the close season, and then returning to their pro club for the new season.

My dear friends at Hunslet on behalf of Susan and myself we give you our heartfelt thanks for the way you have treated our Danny over the last 2 years your support for him has lifted him for every game and knowing he had helped keep Hunslet up was the icing on the cake he was so overcome with emotion when he was presented with the HIST player of the year he was speechless and humbled so please forgive him.
we also would like to give you our heartiest congratulations on the Hawks surviving and you hopefully stay where this great club belongs. We did though feel for the great people over at York for as you know it was they who gave Grimmer his start and we will always be grateful to them but hopefully the RFL in their blind wisdom will reprieve them and put Crusaders in Championship One instead of them.
If what is being said does happen and he signs for my old and his boyhood dream team Featherstone we hope you will not hold it against him as he has given everything for the loyal supporters of Hunslet and thank you for giving him the opportunity to progress. Good luck in the future and hopefully see you as friends in the future.colin & Sue

Great post, Hes been nothing short of excellent for us in every game this season, im so glad he appreciated the HIST award, all that running around i did last week to get it knowing he loved it makes it all worth while, and he deserves it, 95% of our members voted for him, that just shows how well he has performed and how much he is thought about by our fans, i hope we can somehow hold on to him for one more season, but realistically he is better than us and deserves to be playing at the high end of the league, what ever happens i know he will have the backing of all Hunslet supporters and we all wish him all the best where ever his Career takes him!

I've been bangin on about Danny for ages now. I've never seen him have a bad game and with the possible exception of Andy Kain, I rate him as the best 6 in our league. Though in making that comparison one has to acknowledge the advantages that operating behind a dominant pack like Andy Kain has done all season, would do for Danny.
I can't wait for him to come to rovers.

I,ll second that, danny has been so good this season that we will find it virtually impossible to replace him, made Jones and Black look like mugs y,day as he has done all season. No limits to what he can achieve in the game and will always be welcomed back and remembered as a legend at Hunslet if indeed he does go.
