This time, can you bring some supporters, and make sure they can sing. Don't leave it to they young girls to do. Oh, and I've had a word with CH,and he says for the benefit of the Female hornet supporter, he will tell our fans the truth!!
And lastly, look out for a dog having a dump and a cry!

Ahh a bit of pre match banter from our nearest and dearest

4 from 4? It may well happen, the Biffs are 8/1 favourites (between us two) with the bookies for winning the GF where as we are 10/1, but one things for certain...who ever compiled those odds didn't see us turn over the Champions last Friday night  and that's with the Lions fielding an extra player in the form of the referee suspending the forward pass rule for Swinton only

As for bringing some support, it never ceases to amaze me the way you Biffs go on about our attendances. The fact is that the former super league team Oldham only managed 40 odd more per game than Hornets, not something to shout about really

So, if CH is going to tell the truth will he be bringing the last 10 years worth of accounts with him? Hmmm maybe not

Some travel advice for you.
1)Feel free to come by car, the car park is tarmac so you wont need a 4x4.

2)When you get inside there's a big brick, concrete and steel structure called a stand, feel free to sit any where there's an empty seat (seats are the things you can sit on).

3)When you're seated take some time to look directly above you but don't panic if you can't see the sky, there's a thing called a roof above. This is to protect you from the elements.

4)There's a bar at the top of the stand, in there you can buy beer in a glass, just like in a pub. We don't allow tin cans on the terrace so if you do struggle to drink from a glass please bring your self a Tommy Tippee cup. We also serve pies that are actually warm, though if you prefer them cold like at Whitebank you can always leave them under your seat for half an hour or so, or just dip them in your beer, this will have the added advantage of warming your beer just like at Whitebank.

5)Finaly and this is most important. We will not tolerate peeing or pooing any where except in a toilet, these are located behind doors with signs on them that say "Toilet" on them. Those Whitebank regulars that are unfamiliar with this equipment can find more info at the following link http://paddyk.wordpr...o-use-a-toilet/

Finaly, may the best team win, shout and sing your hearts out, and win lose or draw have a good time.

Car park at front of club is tarmaced

Plenty of empty seats as you dont have any fans!!

3)When you're seated take some time to look directly above you but don't panic if you can't see the sky, there's a thing called a roof above. This is to protect you from the elements.
I will be to busy watching us score tries!!

We will use the toilets that yo don't own, but the ###### will be on the pitch in blue and red!!

6) after we beat you last time, why were you not on the board , or were you to busy wiping up the poo from your pants after you saw the final score!!!!

Am I the only one not bothered about the result?
After yesterdays win and our gradual improvement over the last two to three months I was really looking forward to the play offs but the news about Wilson has me completely gutted. Great player but more importantly a great guy. Rugby doesn't really seem to matter as much when you hear news like that.

Ahh AR....a bite. Full of bile, phlegm and venom. Excelent.

The Biffs own a bar? Not really, it's true you get the profits from the bar but you don't own it, nor do you own the two foot square patch of tarmac to the front, nor do you own the pitch, nor buildings, nor any part of Whitebank, save for the portaloos maybe. Infact Oldham rugby league own as much of their stadium as we own of ours (ours is actually a stadium tho').

Win, lose or draw on Sunday AR we entered the C1 after you and we'll be out of it before you (even if you win every GF for the next ten years) if you stay at Whitebank.
In any event, no matter what the Biffs do Hornets are on the up. Since the new club was formed we've finished higher and higher up the league every season, we're financialy stable, and whether you like them or not we have an accountable board. If they let us down we can get rid of them. Can you get rid of your board if they don't perform? Can you become a board member? Can you become a share holder? I can answere yes to all those questions.
Hornets have a future, it's healthy and growing.

Enjoy the game Sunday mate, sing, shout wave your arms and stamp your feet, it's what it's all about.

In 2008, you finished 7th, in 2009 it was 8th, in 2010 it was 5th, and this season you scored 56 more points than Doncaster to finish above them on 4th. Hardly finishing higher and higher every season is it?
And as for your last request, will you have enough supporters to participate with us,or are you leaving that to the young girls again!!

Still biting AR

Get your facts straight AR, the 2008 season was the old club. The new clubs first season was 2009. We're moving forward year on year, can you say the same about Oldham?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, whilst our attendances are woeful at times I would have expected the former SL team to be dragging them in. According to the figures I last saw you had an average of 41 more than us per game. Now I'll grant you it probably felt like more at Whitebank but it's not really something for you to shout about. :P

Hornets are moving forward one small step at a time, it gives me no pleasure to say you Biffs are moving backwards. The best thing you could do (if you haven't already) is join Rugby Oldham, with enough members and a fighting fund you'd stand half a chance of wrestling the club away from CH as, when and if things go wrong. Believe it or not with the support I know there is for RL in Oldham you'd be a force to contend with inside ten years (and I don't mean in the C1) with a supporter owned and run club.

It'l be a close tense game I think, but my money is on Hornets 30 points to 24 B)

Catch you later.

How is not being able to beat the team that finished 7th 3 times in one season deemed moving forward ?

And how is not geting to a GF deemed " moving foward"?

How is signing a virtual new team for next season " moving forward "?

I dont see the fact that you only scored by a few more pts than Doncaster that got you 1 position higher than last season, " moving forward"
The amount of points you scored more than us in the season is negligable, and that got you 4th. If it wasnt for the fact that you had this tie against us, you would be in a low crowd play off as the other teams don't really have traveling supporters. we'll see you sunday for 4/4, unless your team are going to give us a game!!

The problem with you AR is you can't see the wood for the trees.

There's more to a club than just the team, but lets start with that.
Hornets the Co-op finished 7th 2009, 5th 20100 and 4 in 2011: therefor the team is improving year on year, you don't have to have a degree in maths to work that out.
Oldham hadn't finish lower than 4th since you entered the C1 in 2007 until now when you finished 7th, the team's move backwards.
You make a big deal about us losing 3 from 3 to you when you finished below us, fair enough if that means you have a better team than ours even though you finished below us then I supose we could claim to be better than Workington for winning 3 from 3 against them, even though we finished below them!
However, although we beat them in all our games this season they deserve their 3rd place because of the way they played over the entire season, which was better than us and better than you. It's not rocket science is it?
You deserve your 7th place above London Skolars because that's how well you played, end of.
You've got one thing right though, we do seem to serialy under achieve against weeker sides likes like Skolars and you biffs and then go on to confound the pundits with our performances against stronger teams like Swinton, Workington, Keithley and even Castleford.

The club, where do I start? If Oldham RL paid anything like the money for Boundary Park that we pay for Spotland then you've just saved your self the best part of fifty thousand pounds a year. Where's that money gone? Not on the team and not on Whitebank (not yet), when Swinton moved to the Willows they saved themselfs £30k a year, thye spent the money on a team and look where it's got them...promotion!!
Hopefully CH is saving the money for ground development, or maybe even buying a team, as and when you move back to Boundary Park. Or maybe he's using the money for some thing else, back pocket? Pay Bill Quine of? Who knows. You and every other Oldham fan are being taken for a ride and there's not a thing you can do about it!! Oldhams going backwards.

Enjoy the game AR

We were in the bar after the game enloying a pint till a rude and ill mannered individual Hornets supporter put a syop to that.
However, congrats on a good win, we didn't play well, you did. The difference for you this time round was Chris Hough.
My money's on workington winning the GF, and I hope they do as we will have whitehaven to got to away, with the prospect of Barrow.
Whilst Im dissapointed we lost, the club has a great future with it's youngsters coming through, some great plans for the Ground, now the lease is secured, and an excellent coaching staff that will be with us again next year.
Good luck for the lay offs and 2012, wherever that may be, enjoy watching POC, ( he's class) and bring on the Law cup.!!!
