Thatto Heath Crusaders will represent the Hattons Solicitors National  Conference League next Saturday 29th October, as the NCL Champions  travel to Perpignan to face The Federal XIII de France representative  team in a European Challenge match.

The game will take place at the Stade Gilbert Brutus and will act as a  curtain raiser to the full international between France and Scotland.  The Crusaders will be looking to emulate previous NCL Champions Oulton  Raiders, Skirlaugh and Leigh East in winning on French soil. However  this fixture represents a significant step up in the standard of  opposition, as the representative side will comprise all of the best  amateur players from their domestic amateur competition.

Thatto Heath Crusaders squad will be selected from:-
Shaun Quinn, Phillip Morrison, Darren Woods, Adam Walsh, Dave Hull,  Andrew Stott, Chris Frodsham, Mick Ledger, Tom Eckersley, Ste Woods, Ste  Ward, Alex Trumper, James Clarke, Mark Beech, Keiron Maddocks, Anthony  Bate, David Pike and James Hitchmough.

The Federal XIII de France squad is:-
Jean Luc Angelini, Jean Patrick Angelini (both Roanne), Romain Bonnet,  Tiphaine Thomassin (both APT), Sebastian Chastaing, Julien Lacrambe,  Benoit Loumo-Sanchez, Julien Rodriguez (all Gratentour), Julien  Ciravollo (St. Hippolyte), Cheik Cissoko, Mathieu Zokou (both Paris),  Fabien Croux, Lionel Munoz, Brice Nuttini (all Ornaisons), Ismael  Navarlas, Benjamin Sarda (both Ferrals) Mathieu Posez (Trentels), Julien  Sicot (Beziers).

Accompanied by Head Coach Andrew Bailey and his support team, the squad  fly out of Liverpool on Friday morning, with a training session planned  for Friday night when the Crusaders will be hosted by French  Championship side St.Esteve XIII.

Thatto Heath Crusaders would like to thank partners Hattons Solictors,  Hattons Travel, Neticonic, Paragon Construction, Horizon Group,  Executive Solutions, Optimus Protein, The Steve Prescott Foundation and  O’Neills Sportswear for their support this season and in particular  Tommy Frodsham from Upfront Financial Services for his kind donation  towards funding the trip.

Heath will wear a specially designed white O’Neills kit featuring a gold  star above the famous Thatto Heath Crusaders logo to commemorate their  historic first National Conference League Championship in 2011.
