England Community Lions U18s head coach Kelvin Lockett has named his squad ahead of a busy international schedule.
A 27-man squad has been announced as the Lions take on France, Scotland and Wales in the coming weeks.
11 players from Cumbria have been included, three of whom ply their trade for Wath Brow Hornets, whilst Maryport, Barrow Island, Millom and Glasson Rangers are also represented.
Gillette Conference Youth League champions Thatto Heath Crusaders have two players involved with Leon Tatlock and Jack Jones making the cut, whilst the midlands have three representatives in Denham Samuel (Telford Raiders), Reece Needham (Nottingham Outlaws) and Hershall Ward (Leicester Storm).

Ah that answers my question of lack of Londoners.Whilst it's great to see so many Cumbrian lads in the squad maybe it only highlights the lack of opportunities for good young players in the county. I suspect that many of their counterparts from Lancashire and Yorkshire are ineligible because they're hooked up with SL and CC clubs' Academy schemes.

The England Community Lions U18s side has been named for tomorrow’s test match against France at Hemel Hempstead.
Head coach Kelvin Lockett has named a side that includes players from 16 different community clubs, with Wigan St Judes the only team to provide two players in scrum half Tom Whittle and second rower Kieran Ford.
Tomorrow’s game is the start of a busy period for the Lions as they are also set to face Scotland next Wednesday at Whitehaven and then Wales in Wrexham a week on Sunday.
The clash against Wales will be played as a curtain-rasier to the Gillette Four Nations encounter between Wales and Australia later that day.

A cracking game by all accounts.
It was.
Two more tests for the Community Lions, they really should walk over Scotland and Wales unless those two have hidden depths I'm not aware of.
