It makes me laugh, Askam struggled to get an A team out when the first team were playing but now the first team have finished they manage to get a full team each week.

Incorrect again!!
Askam played with 15 players due to 5 or 6 regular A team players being unavailable. We could have drafted in players that usually play 1st team but as I've stated before we will be only playing players in the A team that have previously played A team!
The simple reason why the A team have more players now is obviously because the first team will not be drafting players into the team to cover injuries, county call ups etc. So therefore have more players available!!

What's incorrect?
Earlier in the A team season your A team struggled to a side (and couldnt get a side on some occasions), every club has to cope with injuries to players etc.

That was incorrect!!
I know every club has to deal with injuries etc and that's part and parcel of the game, and that's why nearly every A team could struggle for players at some point in the season. The games where the A team did struggle to raise a side was the weekends of county games, having 8 players in the county set ups along with a lot of injuries meant that the A team would be short of players.

Just a small mention that Roose Pioneers finally broke their duck this season with a close 20-18 win over Hindpool.
Bad news was the bad injury sustained by one of the Hindpool lads!
I hope he makes a speedy recovery.............Get well soon and all that malarky!
Did anyone see that 46 year old prop playing for Pioneers

He is doing fine now.He is back home after his operation yesterday.
Polo said we were going to call it a draw with finishing early lol.Considering we only just managed to scrap a team together I thought we did ok for 13 men.
Well done to Roose though.Good game of rugby.

Correct I did. Last season in a few games we played some "first teamers" but this was only after all "A teamers" were asked first, the "first teamers" that played had all played enough A team games through out the season to qualify to play.

Yes I know but come the end off season the Askam "first teamers" will have played enough games to qualify. The players you played wernt even fringe players and if you put them in your A team every week your first team has no game there going to get enough games to qualify (how many games do you need to play?).Askam would be get slagged off if they were cancelling games every week due to no team, so what do you want?Correct I did. Last season in a few games we played some "first teamers" but this was only after all "A teamers" were asked first, the "first teamers" that played had all played enough A team games through out the season to qualify to play.
