Yeah means they won't have many players til November. But they were only getting a side at the end of winter because they were using St Annes players so I guess by playing winter they can strengthen that way although its only a short term fix.

No because the RLC only had a short season. If enough clubs wanted a short winter season there's no reason there couldn't be one IMO.But is it not the RLC in reversal?

So the first few months and the last few months of the winter season will be OK and inbetween they could use dual registration players. No because the RLC only had a short season. If enough clubs wanted a short winter season there's no reason there couldn't be one IMO.

If they have too many dual registered players the first and last few months won't be okay as they won't have any players. Think Bramley first game of the season. So the first few months and the last few months of the winter season will be OK and inbetween they could use dual registration players.

50 teams seems down from 68 that started in the main divisions (I assume it excludes entrance teams) but not sure how many of the teams are merely undecided, how many plan to join the NCL and how many are committed to returning to winter. Still seems a decent size league though

Propaganda all the way, will the clubs who are showing an increase in union players have them from March 2013
