It must feel like a really rewarding job in the RFL marketing team. They've spent the whole week trying to release good news, only for it all to be drowned out by the most imaginative depth and breadth of moaning.
I tell you what, let's have teams play games once every two months, ace. Keeps it nice and fresh.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

It can buy you beer and that's a bit like happiness in a glass!

I went to the MM weekend last season and loved it. IMO it was the best event to kick off the season and the RFL has changed it to a random weekend at a local stadium which does take the magic away considerably for me. However, having played Wigan six times in one season during 2011, I'm bored rigid at the idea of now playing them at least three times in one season. Why couldn't Saints have had Warrington instead? That would have been competitive but different.

But if Saints played Warrington they could end up drawing them in the CC, and possibly playing them twice in the play-offs. Then you'd be bored of seeing Warrington. The RFL have simply gone for the biggest drawing match ups to try and get as big a crowd as they can.

This time means that we have to either stay over, or someone has to drive. Last train back from Manc on a Saturday is 9pm.

Only towards the end of 2012 would I be bored, assuming we played them six times or more. I'm still trying to get over the boredom of playing Wigan six times last season.

Eeeeh lass - how hard it is to manage success! If you want BORED you should try watching Bradford over the last few years on a grey, cold, windy Sunday afternoon! Guaranteed to make you anything but good!
I don't tire of watching derbies - and all the more when the fans are getting wound up.
You only aquire your attitude after years of continuous success - I could recommend a way to get your passion back - but you wouldn't like it
Anyway - I'll be there - can't wait

Huh? We lost our fifth GF on the trot in 2011 and we haven't darkened the doors of Wembley for three seasons now so I'm not sure where the 'years of continuous success' comes from!
You can have too much of a good thing you know. Even derby matches can become dull with too much repetition, which is my point. Maybe by the time the first one arrives I will feel refreshed and ready to take on six more derby matches. But just now the idea bores me.

Well, lose against your annual 'CC1 club at home' in the Cup and don't make the play-offs. Simple.

Ok I'll rephrase that.
Once more Bradford will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
And Saintslass I would have thought the more times you play Wigan the more chances you have of actually winning.

That said, there shouldn’t be that element of boredom at this one, as it is being played in Manchester for the first time. My issue would be if the same games were played next season in Manchester.
