Beating Leeds.

Because they are there.

I'd be disappointed if Rhinos fans didn't feel the same about us.

Seeing if the, seemingly many, talented young players in SL can push on and put pressure on McNamara to pick them for England.

I am looking forward to going to the new stadiums this year, The City of Salford Community Stadium, Langtree Park at Saint Helens and RFL Odsal....
On a club level it will be interesting to see how our 18 new signings gel together this year and compound the critics once again by not finishing bottom of super league. In general I hope we have two new clubs contesting Grand Final and the Challenge Cup Final.
I hope within the next five years Rugby League crowds go through the roof due to the new stadia coming on board (hopefully!) along with The Eddie Stobart and SKY deals.

I'm most looking forward to 7pm on Friday 3rd February. Everything after that is just a bonus.
Stobart spotting; Bradford (2), Huddersfield, Leeds, St Helens (2), Widnes, Wigan.

Seeing whether the Vikings crowds can get as wild as the bunch when announced they were coming back!

Givens:

The continuing modernisation of a wonderful sport
Increased competition due to licensing
The absence of any minus points for debt-ridden teams, which blighted last year
2 new, modern stadia to showcase the game and attract more paying customers
A greater influx of English kids at several teams

Fingers crossed:

The mass media finally cottoning on that RL is world sport's best kept secret
No tinkering with the perfect post-season structure

Finally, if I had 1 wish:

The introduction of a trade system to replace transfer fees

Would love a challenge cup draw of Fev vs Cas, Leigh vs Wakefield, Fax vs Salford, Batley vs Widnes, Sheffield vs London.... Show the championship is at a level with bottom end Super League, and bring in a serious look at P and R

1) Even if the results were close it would in no way bring a serious look at P and R.

2) The results would very probably not be close.
