Rfl were due to hold a meeting tomorrow to discuss the format of the emerging league. This has been cancelled due to a "poor response from clubs". Clubs now responding via email

Looks like the league is going to be a joke as only 14 league fixtures spread over about 6 months. If you get knocked out of the Community Shield early you may as well be back in the Yorkshire League. How can the RFL have got Yorkshire so wrong but done such a good job of the North West?

Moldgreen (another ex NCL side) are entering a team but not sure if it's to group 6 or merit.

Kick off in 2 weeks and they've only got the premier division's fixtures and table on the website. Appalling.

A league that kicks off this Saturday has no fixtures on the websites below the premier and even the premier fixtures ate hidden away. Genius.

The new BARLA set up could be tempting for the NCL Yorkshire `A` teams next season.A league that kicks off this Saturday has no fixtures on the websites below the premier and even the premier fixtures ate hidden away. Genius.

No because it's the wrong time of year. You can't be a reserve team and play a different season, it would defeat the point. The new BARLA set up could be tempting for the NCL Yorkshire `A` teams next season.
BARLA would probably do a better job of running the summer league in Yorkshire than the RFL have, but then again a clown could.

It's not a true A team if they play a different season to firsts as it can't provide players. Once youth is moved to summer clubs won't want their whole club summer except their reserveswhy can't you have your `A` team running in the winter?

It seems like a farce to me already!
1st scheduled game of the season tomorrow. The lads have been itching to play since our NCL team started 6 weeks ago. We have bought the food and arranged for our reserve team sponsors to come for a presentation and some photos before the game, only for North Yorkshire to ring and give backword on the fixture last night!

Anyway looking at the website wouldn't know either of you has any fixtures anyway. I know I've said it before but there's no point having a shiny website if it has no fixtures below premier and only the table for group 1 and nothing else.It seems like a farce to me already!

13 games left plus the cup to last you til October now, if the games go ahead.

Should have stopped winter and have your clubhouse tills ringing all year round. It seems like a farce to me already!

shiny website with the Yorkshire Rose the wrong way round, two points to the top one at the botton to form the Y for Yorkshire.Anyway looking at the website wouldn't know either of you has any fixtures anyway. 1 fixture in 6-7 weeks so far. The problem is what are the alternatives?! Another team pulling out after training on a Thursday night. Absolute joke! If anyone else is struggling for fixtures Shaw Cross A are itching for a game.

It looks like they're letting clubs in the long season groups play cross over games against teams in the short season and counting what should be friendlies in the table. Bizarre.
The Yorkshire League management could do a better job.

What can the management do if the teams don't have enough players that is not the managements fault or is it ?, also unlike the NWC mens league where more or less all the clubs have switched to summer, in yorkshire most of the clubs outside the NCL have chosen to remain winter in the pennine League.
In the YML most of the clubs are 2nd teams and most of these clubs failed to fullfill fixtures when they where winter clubs so in somecases it does not suprise me that they are not fullfilling their fixtures.

Dewsbury Moor have resigned from the premier division.
Shaw Cross Sharks A and Oulton Raiders A have been bumped up from group 2 and the 3 remaining group 2 clubs have been added to group 1. Why they've gone for an 8/5 split at that level when Heworth A would just as easily geographically fit into group 3 I don't know?

Dewsbury Moor's promotion into the Pennine Premier should be OKed soon after coming runners up to Halifax Irish in the championship last season

Yeah suspect they've decided to focus on winter. Unless they have NCL ambitions that would make sense given how much better run the Pennine League is.Dewsbury Moor's promotion into the Pennine Premier should be OKed soon after coming runners up to Halifax Irish in the championship last season
I expect Pennine will get reshuffled with more Yorkshire League sides though doubt any would go straight to premier.
