I might play him in once but not 3 times lol  Yes I would play him, but did not have squad list in front of me. Subs bench is young and untested at this level, which is why I chose it for NRC games.

I'm only going on what i saw for the whole of last season and that was a player who rarely broke a tackle and didn't seem to have an offload game. The team has plenty of leaders on the field already Thorman,Ford,Tansey spring to mind immediately so i don't see this as a reason to play him for the sake of it.
King,Sullivan,Howard and Broughton all seem better options to begin the season with at prop forward.
However,i will say, that if Benson is played and improves a lot on last year then i will stand corrected and a better player can only benefit the Knights.

Don't think so.
Paper also says Houston (hand), Haynes (knee, hamstring) & Pryce (knee) all doubtful
for Sunday due to injuries.

Hope King and Sullivan are fit otherwise we have nearly half a team out before the first game.

Shame on both fronts, but judging by this weeks weather forcast I doubt they'll be a game this Sunday.

Best get yourself down there with some good old fashioned braziers and get them lit. Freezing conditions forcast for every night between now and Sunday.

Looks like Spearmint Rhino for the stag do then

Agreed, give the lad a place in the 17 for the four NRC games and see how he progresses
