Spot on guy John,not seen him at the club for some time now,the orange away shirt(Evening post) had his name on the sleeve which he sponsored RIP

John Hawkshaws funeral is Friday 17th February at 1.00pm Cottingley.
Supporters are invited back to the Phoenix Bar for 2.00pm

Johns funeral took place last Friday, there was a good turn out of about 70. The coffin was dressed in the club colours including a floral display in the shape of a rugby ball (a nice touch John). Afterwards the guests retired to the Pheonix bar for a buffet, and tea and coffee. The clubs catering ladies did a great job, a big thank you to them.
I think John would have been pleased with his send off.  RIP JOHN it was a honour knowing you.
