Wonder what would happen if they received complaints from every team they played against, could it be a very expensive white elephant??
Opinions!

Compared to how the Headingley pitch(beach) looked on TV tonight then its the way forward. Sure it needs work and developing and possibly short term to eliminate burns and abbrasions then the players can adopt a trouser type wear akin to american football.

Rugby League games always used to kick off on a saturday afternoon.
Rugby League used to have only 1 divison.
Rugby League used to have unlimited tackles.
Rugby League used to give 3points for a try.
there are many many others people can add here.
Some things change (not always for the better) call it development progression whatever.

What is wrong with grass? I thought we had donw all this plastic pitch ###### 10 years ago with similiar reactions to last night.
Those muppets on sky couldn't decide which side of the fence to fall onto. First it was hurrah for the plastic and after an hour it Boo! plastic out! Maybe one half plastic and one half grass?

This pitch doesn‘t need cutting, so no tractor to mow it... no co2 emissions from that, consider that lily
Ive played on the pitch at Leigh (while Leyther Matt abused the local scroats) got as many grazes playing on that as you would on a grass pitch at the same time.

We need more data.
On the other hand, I would rush to install one just yet.
Closer each day, Home and Away.

I believe my official position that day was "Assistant Coach and Occasional Abuser" as I was injured/drunk, can't remember which one.

(scroll down the Wakefield page)
Players shouldn't have to start wearing knee and elbow pads to combat the state of a pitch

Would this of happened if he was playing on grass? Granted anyone can 'catch a stud' even on grass but is it coincidence or just bad luck?????
