We really need to start the game by taking it to Castleford and not ending up being on the back foot as we did yesterday.
It's was so frustrating seeing us stand back and allow the opposition to come to us in the defensive line rather than us being motivated and going to meet them, and I have slight concerns about our fitness levels (see below).
In the second half yesterday we had four repeat sets of six (two from penalties and one from the GLDO forced) to attack the Catalan line.
So while we sustained this onslaught on the Dragons defensive line for a good three minutes and ended up throwing a forward pass before Millard knocked forward with Crookes open to the line, we came away with nothing.
But the worrying trend was that after the visitors efforts in defence it was us who looked unfit as from the 10m scrum Henderson and Dureau attacked us down the middle as we struggled to get back the required 10m.
In this possession the Catalan Dragons went from defending four sets of six on their own line to going 60m up field and then on the last tackle 30m out from the Bradford line, Dureau once again attacked through the middle on the power play before showing his astuteness with the boot to provide the cross field chip over Sammut for Millard to score out wide.
On a side note: Sky Sports News last night they put the Margin Meter to the test by feeding it all the stats from the opening fixtures and it's prediction for the Castleford vs Bradford game was a Castleford victory by 16 points.
But we all know it can be wrong, but I'm saying Castleford to win by 20+ here.

All things considered I will go with a draw
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

"They [Catalans] didn't have it all their own way but they certainly, overall, performed better on the day as far as winning the ruck and controlling offensively and defensively for most of the game"
They didnt have it all their own way, but they performed better and controlled the ruck offensively and defensively ....... sounds like they did have it all their own way! Although to be fair I wasn't at the game, only seen the Sky highlights, but they did back that statement up. Ever since we signed Potter as coach I've said he was wrong man for the job and took it for all the wrong reasons, and he has done nothing yet to change my view, although not yet quite at the point of wanting Mcnamara back (!).
Anyway, fingers crossed we get off the mark on Sunday!!! Come on you Bulls!

So I guess that means we got the two points as it was a moral victory.
Ethics were not mentioned.
