last years game was very entertaining with the moment of the season for catalans with the Menzies wonder try in the corner
problem is for the Catalans is keeping young Briscoe at bay without any recognised wingers to help cover
i'm predicting a very close game with maybe another draw for the Black 'n Whites !

Les Cats 28 Hull FC 18.
Why are most Union scores divisible by three?..Beats me.9/12/ 2011, Cardiff Blues and Edinburgh fight an even Heineken Cup clash scoring one try apiece. Final score Cardiff 25 Edinburgh 8.
30/3/2012, Sale visit Newcastle and score 3 tries to 1 in a one sided game. Final score Newcastle 22 Sale 19.
18/5/2012, Amlin Challenge Cup Final, Biarritz 21 Toulon 18, (7 pens v 5 pens and drop goal, tries:- zip, none, sod all)

Robinson knows that his problems are out wide, they were last season early on and that was with recognised wingers - the thought of Briscoe will be a big concern to him...IMO
I still reckon a two point game or a draw

You need to stop Dureau that's for certain.
Hull can tackle
FC to sneak this one..... Paris will then downgrade Catalan and upgrade FC

The Catalans have too many options in attack for most teams. The size of their pack and their centres, and the skills of their hookers and halves, are exceptional.
I would expect them to win over Hull FC by at least 12, maybe more, though the margin might not be stretched till the last 20 minutes.
Hull FC will never be able to replace Fitzgibbon in attack and defence. The man is a legend, and a fine person to boot.

Lynch, O'Meley & Moa to win the upfront battle, Houghton to cut em up, stopping Dureau getting the upper hand.
Once Hull are on top, expect Manu, Yeamen & Briscoe to run a few in :-)
Well that's my dream anyway :-)

Consider yourself lucky you only have to put up with them for this one game. Some of us have to listen to that claptrap every week.
As long as Hull don't gift the Dragons tries like they did 3 times last week against Wire, they can nick this one. It'll be close, one score in it I think. Another nailbiter!

But we can replace Agar, which we have, and the overall ability of the team will be far far higher than if we lost 2 or 3 Fitzgibbon's!
We never relied on Fitzgibbon, so his loss won't be much of a difference.

After watching St Helens tonight, I am starting to think that Catalans have the best pack in Super League: Ferriol, Henderson, Casty, Fakir, Paea, Anderson, Menzies, Baitieri, Mounis, with Fisher and later Pelissier as substitute hookers.
Plus Dureau, Bosc and Pryce in the halves.
They look the real deal.

I think it's a valid opinion actually, although I think ours (Warrington's) is better. The players PS names are excellent, and are now playing under a real coach who understands forward play.
Hull's pack isn't bad actually, but I saw nothing from Westerman last week to suggest he's up to it. I think it'll be a close game, I'll say 26-18 to Catalans.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

A plus point is that they kept both Wigan and Huddersfield scoreless in the second halves of those respective games and came away with the two points.
