Sadly dont think I will be bothering! it is £35.80 return on the train and with the cost of transfer to the ground from railway station and match admission at £14 I cant justify it on my meagre Royal Mail salary.

Theres a bus goes from near the station (Rougier St,) to the Park and ride (Monks Cross) 2 mins walk from the ground No 9 Silver line if that helps anyone.

"Over 65s = £10"? The usual ruling is over-60s NOT 65s and WHY do you have to write the word "Bar" with a capital letter? And an extra two quid just to sit down? A bit penny pinching/money grabbing don't you think?

We'll need the weather to pick up a bit for the game to even be on. Temperatures are forecast to hover around 0C in York all week.
Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

Bluemonkey

Bet Ian W's really glad he put his welcoming note on here for you guys

Prices are no doubt what we need to keep the club going so you take your choice, we are not the dearest club so do hope you bring a few fans over as the Knights usually bring a good following to your place.

There is no ruling and it is not like a bus pass. The Knights have always stated 65 and over as a concession. Why should a working man aged 61 get in cheaper than an 18 year old that cannot find work? As regards an extra £2 to sit, we could just charge £16 all in like other clubs, or more in the case of Halifax. What did Leigh charge last season?

Welcome to the Championship and the costs that come with it

Lets not turn this into some kind of petty argument, at the end of the day IanW was good enough to pre warn us Lions fans about the cost of attending their ground.I can recall many instances where I have heard fans comming to our ground(take your pick of the many we have had) and grumbled about prices of entry etc.

Mark, Duffy et al.
If you are unable to get to the game ( weather permitting ) on Sunday there is full live match coverage on BBC Radio York from 2.45pm.
You can get us on 666 or 1260AM ( unlikely due to those there hills ) but also on the PC at www.bbc.co.uk/york and follow the sport link.
There will also be post match reaction and interviews. Texts to 81333, start your message with the word 'york'.
You will be more than welcome..................

Why don't you post yourself there?
You'd probably get a staff discount.

....or the groundsman at York will find a card pushed through the turnstile asking him to leave it 24 hours before collecting a (very large) parcel from the sorting office on Monday!!!
