First cuckoo of the season and it's only 6th Feb. Is this a record?

Second.

We've already had a Gledhill/Ganson sighting.

The first cuckoo of the season will be when he's let off and sent a letter regarding his future conduct.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:

Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.

It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.

Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

There can only be one first cuckoo and that has already been heard. No one ever made the headlines by saying they thought they head the third cuckoo. In any case, it may have been a wood pigeon you heard. an easy mistake to make with that racket from mill looms and pit engines in the background.

one game ban after early guilty plea.

Sir turn up the TV sound
The war has started on the ground
Just love those laser guided bombs
They're really great
For righting wrongs
You hit the target
And win the game
From bars 3,000 miles away
3,000 miles away
