Do you get the idea of the extra players in your squad this time?

Your starting line up of 17 -(13 plus four interchange players) are the only ones who score as in previous years.
However we've previously suffered if a selected player doesn't actually play in the event.
The extra six players this year are our standby players for the position they cover
If one of our first seventeen doesn't play then the extra reserve player automatically comes in to your team ... as long as he actually played too. If you lose two players in any one position (say two of your props didn't play in the round) then only your one prop extra reserve counts for you. At least you have a little extra back up though.

TRANSFERS:

• Participants may make three transfers before a normal Fantasy Round deadline (a normal Fantasy Round is a Fantasy Round in which no more than two NRL teams have a bye i.e. Fantasy Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26).

• Six transfers are permitted before a Fantasy Round deadline where three or more NRL teams have a bye during that Fantasy Round (i.e. Fantasy Rounds 11, 14, 17, and 18).

• Participants may make unlimited transfers before the Fantasy Round deadline for each of the Qualifying Final, Semi-Final, Preliminary Final and Grand Final (i.e. Fantasy Rounds 27, 28, 29 and 30).

I notice anomalies in scoring from time to time.
I was surprised to see Manu Vatuvei awarded 45 points in R1.
Yes he was heavily involved. For me every plus he earned in that game was matched with a minus.
Given the lower scores of other players who were less haphazard it was something I thought I'd mention.

After Round 2




Lots of movement up and down this week as you'd probably expect early in the season.
Some terrific scores though. Congratulations to David, the first of us to break the 600 barrier.
Ten of us got scores in excess of 500.
So after two rounds, David, Richard, Brett and Cameron have already topped the thousand points mark.

As I was away from the PC this week I didn't get chance to post our league positions after Round 4.
Normal service will resume for our Round 5 positions.
I can't access the end of R4 positions as the league is already partially updated with scores so far this round.

Welcome to the league Crusaders - as you can see you'll be in contention from this weekend onwards.

Only Brett scored over 600 points this week.
One or two others of us might have crept over that mark had one of our star players not left the field injured early on in his game!
