The match against York City Knights on Sunday has been postponed due to the bad weather and pitch conditions.

The provisional date for the game has been moved to Thursday 23rd February 2012, 8pm kick off.

No surprise and sensible to make the early decision in the circumstances - the temperature is forecast to rise a bit on Sunday but it will surely be too little too late.

Gives everyone who was thinking of going a chance to make alternative plans for their time.

A big pity to miss out on a day trip to York on a weekend though!

That's put the mockers on my weekend plans.

Even worse is that when we play the replay, it's going to be time off work mileage there and then 3 days later mileage up to Barrow.

It won't surprise me if we struggle at the Barrow game due to lack of game time, fatigue and just the boredom of sitting on a coach.

Have to say and agree Phil it was the correct decision to call this one early so well done to York for doing so.

It just makes them hungrier for the next game
