Here's hoping for a win by about 12 tomorrow, the Hawks having beaten Whitehaven convincingly mid-week shows it won't be easy though.
18 man squad is given as:
Mort; Dodd, Higson, Armstrong, Penny; Ainscough, Watson; Mills, Smith, Morrison, Wingfield, Gorski, L'Anson; Ashall, Holland, D Hawkyard, Meekin, Cunniffe.
Notably no Foxen, Hurst or R Hawkyard. Perhaps they will get a game at York and/or Barrow.
Squad for Hunslet

Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

In the advertiser SMcC said all the squad will get a run out in the NRC. seems we are treating then as an extended pre-season.
Sincerely hope you're well off target with that observation. Steve McCormack simply acknowleged that giving everyone a game is a necessity when there are 3 games to play in a week, given the players also have day jobs.
All the signals have been of an intent to make a serious impact on the Northern Rail Cup this time around, especially as the draw has been kind enough to avoid pairing the Lions with the likes of Leigh, Featherstone and Halifax in the Group fixtures.
This is a big chance to have a crack at the quarter finals. BUT the form shown in the pre-season friendlies needs improving on.
