Little has been said on our build-up to the league. Allowing for the fact that Stansky chose to use the Trains Cup has a proving ground, what's the verdict on our progress and hopes for the main season? London gave Halifax a good game the other day and in view of what's at stake, I do not see any easy matches.
Verdict so far?

I suppose that its correct to say that we were dire in the trains cup and as a result we are at the bottom of the pile.
However, certain things need to be considered, not least Hornets lack of pre season friendlies which surely has had a huge impact on recent games. Also, apart from South Wales, we have been drawn against teams from a higher division and Halifax in particular are expected to be up amongst the front runners in that league. We have been up against it from the outset playing only Keighley at home and the other fixtures away.
I personally, feel that the squad that the coach has assembled, is more than capable of achieving our goal of gaining promotion if everyone of the squad remains healthy throughout the season.
So lets get behind our team and give then our full support, home and away.
