great defensive display then opened it up in the last quarter,lots of positives and joint top of the league not a bad start.

Well done to the u23s to on their win,things are on the up

Encouraging win and good to see strong defence - points difference and bonus points will be crucial at the close of season. Stansky to play fringe/U23 players for Wednesday's meaningless SW game with the trip to Haven next Sunday?

Early days I know and at this stage it doesn't really mean any thing but we're actually joint 1st in the league with Donny on the same points diff'. :rolleyes:

To be honest I thought the Skolars played really well for the 1st 20mins and maybe deserved more for their efforts, they're going to suprise a few teams this year.

The biggest suprises of the day tho' were Gateshead only being beaten by 2 points by the Scorpions and Whitehaven being thumped by Donny. The worlds gone mad, they'll be a few suprises this season.
