I'm not suggesting nothing's happening behind the scenes. He is obviously a business man looking first and foremost grow his brand and awareness. What better way than through sport.
I just pose the question are some people expecting more than he may be intendeding to give ?.
Having read the opinions of other's on the perceived benefits to the respective clubs in question, the feedback is not very good.

He's the real deal cushy! It woukdn't make any sense to speculate on numbers on this forum. the bloke was heavily involved at cas and for reasons that aren't out to do wi us, the relationship appears to have ended.
he's now rockin n rolling with Fev and has already started backing us financially thru PROBIZ.
We're on our way cushy lad. we're on our way!!
I don't think mark c or faisal are the sort of people to work with time wasters!
Its happening cushy.

Feisal said "Fev's initial plans for a Super League return looks more promising than anything I've seen or heard. It's exciting times for the region. I will help Mark, Paul Taylor and Craig Poskitt develop the club from the sidelines and I hope to share advice and strategies deployed elsewhere that has seen entities rise to substantial heights. Key businessman and key 'influences' will also be supporting the bid.
the man is offering advice and strategies that have worked elsewhere, this could be worth more than money in helping us achieve our ambition. some people will no doubt expect more than has been promised, then be disappointed when those expectations aren't achieved. i for one, am quite happy to let the experts do what they do best. up the rovers.

Fair comments Robin, I would just hate for our club and supporters to be bought tickets for the " Fantasy Express" that some of our close neighbors have been on for the last few years.
I really do hope you are right mate.

sometimes you just have to take the plunge. this is probably the most ambitious B.O.D. that we have had and as i see it, we have to support them.

Smart post.
I really must stop reading rubbish on other boards,I think because things are going so brilliantly on and off the field at POR Im thinking this is too good to be true
Having said all of the above I have full confidence in MC and the board at Fev to make the right decisions for our Club.
I think my suspiscion/bias/mistrust to anything linked to c*s is something that may have clouded my judegment...think I may have to get some therapy for that
