I'm sure Tansey has had worse from 15000 Hull fans last season so I'm sure he'll live. It's the younger less experienced players getting grief that's out of order, especially when they happened to be one of the better players last Sunday.
Anyway, I'll keep shouting encouragement to my teams players and save my slagging off for the opposition and ref as I've seen first hand the difference it can make.

Am sorry to say that there was only a handful of supporters at the end of the dewsbury game that held back to clap york , They were not going to come over as the stand was just about empty but they still gave a wave and looked grateful for the support.I am sure the players would have been applauded off the pitch after the game at Dewsbury if they had put in a better effort, even though we lost. All most fans want from their team is for them to play to the best of their abilitys, there is no disgrace in defeat if the team has played well.I'm sure all the fans that were moaning last week will be there on sunday cheering the players on.

And long may it continue Simon.
I intend to do what I've always done, shout, cheer, moan, laugh, talk, jeer, applaud, groan, fart, belch.
But not necessarily in that order Mr Preview.

A cruel finish to a much improved and gutsy performance from the lads, most players were unrecognisable from last week and the Fax supporters I spoke to immediately after the hooter agreed that the Knights deserved a draw.
Tansey looked a lot more comfortable being free to roam from the back.
Without taking anything away from the Knights I was very disappointed with Fax, they seemed to continually plow down the middle and when you have players like White on the wing its criminal not to use his blistering pace. He hardly got a decent pass all afternoon. But we'll let Mr Harrison worry about that.
A BIG WELL DONE TO ALL CONCERNED AT THE KNIGHTS.

Got to say was gutted not to get the draw we at least deserved but very pleased with the commitment shown by the lad , Tans went better at full back , thought Ben Helliwell had a cracking game also , some other good performances too , keep that level of display up &we should be ok

Jiggy
I agree, once he came in field he looks a different player, he has the size, strength and pace to play 2nd row and that's where he looks at his best, took some difficult ball today and cleared his line very well, slight error in ball watching for their first try but after that without a doubt one of the better Knights players today.
1st half again we looked well short of the mark and always 2nd best, forwards didn't appear to be in the game and there was a reliance on the back line to make the hard yards, Fax were playing the basics well and it gave them two easy tries, thought Thacks and Reittie were their best players in 1st half and their pack were running onto the ball with some purpose.
Great 2nd half today from the Knights, they really took it to a Fax side who looked lethargic and tired, think KH must be worried after the amount of spending he's done, expected much more from one of the so called fancied teams in the Championship, on that showing I think not. Really enjoy it when CT runs at teams they find him difficult to defend against and all 2nd half he looked like opening them up, shame we couldnt score off all the pressure we had on their line in middle of 2nd half, couple of basic errors cost us a win today. Some of the younger players had very strong games, Ed Smith put in some hard tackles and Helliwell looks a very classy player, our scrambling defence worked much better and a couple of certain tries were thwarted, very unlucky not to get at least a draw and with a couple of breaks a win was possible.
Well done lads much better today, thanks.

KH wouldnt have been happy but I dont think he would be too worried as many experienced players missing like Aizue, Morrison, Divorty, Tyrer, Haley who are all out injured and it was Sam Barlows first game back after 6 months out. With a massive turn around in players and a new coaching staff Fax will take time to gel especially having had so many injuries. York obviously played very well and your pitch is not one that will see plenty of points scored on it. Fax will be in the playoffs but I dont expect a trophy winning year as I see Fev, Sheffield as the top teams with Batley and Fax behind them. York I think will go well and maybe dark horses for 6th place if you play with the same attitude and commitment shown today. Any team has the potential to beat another and that includes York especially at home against even the top teams

That is my point. The fans would have stayed and applauded if they had shown more effort,as they did today.Am sorry to say that there was only a handful of supporters at the end of the dewsbury game that held back to clap york , They were not going to come over as the stand was just about empty but they still gave a wave and looked grateful for the support.

First class effort from the lads and desperately unlucky not to get a draw - Penky, again !!
Great game to watch (and commentate on) and a much better 'feel' around the place after the game.

Gutted for the lads & coaching staff, deserved a draw, massive improvement on
recent weeks. Got to mention Tansey & Benno who have had their best games of the
season, impressed with Brett Turner aswell, could be a really good option off
the bench & not by just replacing Jack Lee.
Only negative was the early errors in our sets at the start of the 2nd half, but
we scrambled brilliantly in defence & worked hard for each other to recover, need
to be a bit more patient, if we sort that, its looks really positive.
One more thing, great to see Roger Dixon & family there yesterday, hope we see
them a lot more often.
