Were you a pupil at Cromwell Road school around 1958? if so there is a class photo on the Swinton People Facebook page and someone by the name of Christine Worrall has suggested that one of the pupils could be someone with your name.On inspecting the picture closely the pupil in question looks suspiciously like your good self!

Yes I was there 1957-62. I'll have a look when I've a bit more time, as we've got a very busy day today (Sat 17 March) haven't we Shizonamy?

If it's the picture I'm thinking of, it was taken during the autumn term of 1958 and is form 2A showing the form teacher Mr Keith Shannon (History) standing on the left and the headmaster Arthur "Pop" Holt standing on the right. That's yours truly on the back row, first one from the right, just above "Pop" Holt. The wall and the windows behind are the gym.
