I like Doddy and Foxen going forward and they always give 100%. They're a real danger, even at Championship level, as they have already shown this season. But let's face it, we're going to be defending for the majority of our games this season and there was some really poor defending at Sheffield. Hurst and Mort on the wings would be much better for us IMO. But whatever team is put out against Dewsbury, we need to be a lot better than how we played at Sheffield!

The defence out wide doesn't make any more comfortable viewing no matter how many times you see it.

Dodd and Foxen evidently don't understand they have responsibility to stand aligned with their opposite number, call the players inside of them out across the pitch when necessary, and stay aligned when moving up the pitch after each play the ball.

No point being properly set and then wandering aimlessly across laterally, leaving 2 or sometimes even 3 men totally unmarked.

To say "its schoolboy stuff" would be an insult to school coaches!!

Their defence wasn't good enough last season and hasn't improved one iota.

Spot on Phil, if they can't tackle, at least just stay in position ON THE WING!

SM must have seen this so let's hope he's come up with some basic tactics for them..........
