He is lucky to collapse at a match between 2 premiership clubs. Both clubs will have full medical staff, plus ambulance in attendance. Aside from collapsing in an A&E, I doubt there are many other 'better' places.
Hope he pulls through.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Not to mention the cardiologists in the crowd.

Social networking really does expose some pretty terrible individuals to the world.
Hope Muamba recovers fully - he seems like a bright guy and a well liked one.

'R.I.P' Fabrice Muamba' has been trending worldwide on Twitter and still is as far as I can see.
He's not dead.
Astute analysis from a Wigan fan:
Rumour going around Headingley that Wire will have to play the second half with 12 men.
It seems that they forgot to bring the half time oranges, and Solomona ate Chris Bridge instead.
Don't know why he was hungry, as he looked as though he had eaten the whole youth team before the game started.

The guy posted a number of vile comments (racist and generally horible) from his twitter account. The twitter account he used to post normal things like his real name, place of work, uni, RU club, home town, real friends, etc! Also links to his facebook, which had more of the same!http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-17416472

The people who tweeted "I think it's appalling that RIP Fabrice Muamba is trending" are utter idiots. They are the ones causing it to to trend!
Here's hoping for good news this morning.

Brought back memories of poor Roy Powell, who wasn't so lucky. Best of luck to Muamba.

Indeed, that was quite funny really. It was then followed by a wave of people saying, 'Don't you realise that by tweeting 'It's disgusting that RIP Fabrice Mumba is trending' it is causing it to trend'. Which of course helped it to continue trending.

There was a documentary on BBC3 this evening called 'The anti-social network' about Internet trolls. Very sad and disturbing people.

I was assessing a ref at a level 7 rugby union game earlier this season when a player had a freak accident (player's head banged onto other player's knee) and stopped breathing. Thankfully the home team's physio was also a paramedic and saved his life. LinkyHe is lucky to collapse at a match between 2 premiership clubs. Both clubs will have full medical staff, plus ambulance in attendance. Aside from collapsing in an A&E, I doubt there are many other 'better' places.
Hope he pulls through.
I also remember a game about 10 years ago now where the ref had a heart attack during the game and died, neither side had even a first aider to hand.
It struck me as just the arbitrary nature of these things, Muamba could just as easily had a heart attack while out for a run and no-one been around.
Money can't buy happiness... but it can buy bacon which is close enough.

By all accounts he is recovering well now. That's great.
He has received the very best specialist madical help available. World Class. On the NHS.
Let's hope he doesn't turn out to be one of the majority of premiership footballers who is receiving the bulk of his pay outside the tax system in overseas companies as 'image rights' etc to avoid contributing to things like paramedic training, ambulances, specialist cardiologists, intensive care facilities, hospitals etc. etc., or the story might develop into another magnificent football 'own goal'!
Now he is recovering, I don't think it will be long before the story 'moves on' and these questions are asked!

Presented by Richard Bacon a sad and disturbed person who doesn't get called a troll because he's above the line.
