I had hoped the car parking at Salford's new stadium would have been sorted by now.
It isn't so here is a warning.
After the game the car park is closed for 10-15 mins to allow all those on foot to get away, including the shuttle bus passengers (the Willows and Trafford Centre) The bus costs £1 each way
It seems it can take in excess of an hour to get off the car park.
You have a couple of options
Park on the other side of the road at the Airport cost £5
Best bet park at Eccles £3 for secure parking. It is about 10 min walk but you will also avoid the traffic on Liverpool Road approaching the ground. It does tail back to the slip road for the M60.
I can walk home quicker than some fans trying to get off the car park.
I don't see this improving until Port Salford is built.

It was shocking on Friday night. An hour and half after game and we still hadnt moved.
If you have a car then park at the Trafford Centre!
Its a nice stadium but plonked in the middle of nowhere and no infra-structure around it.
Very poor.

Eccles RLFC is the cheapest if there are more than 1 in the car, keeps the money in RL as well.

The organisation of the car parking is poor, they have changed procedure every match so far but having said that we stopped to the end of the game, walked to the car parked on the area next to the tarmacced area, waited for about 10/15 minutes then got going, home for 10.10 pm having a drink.
The best tip that I have is take no notice of the attendants just use your common sense.

Patricroft station is still open as is Irlam station but both will cause issues. Particroft Station will be 40/50 mins walk but is a straight line once you hit Patricroft bridge.
The coaches seem to get away quicker as they park on the service road not actually in the main car park. The shuttle bus also get priority.
WSCR - did they put you on the gravel park again? that needs to be flat and some lighting.
If you think Reebok after an International Game it will give you a clue of the problems.
I can walk to the ground in 40 mins and so this is what we do.

Against Leeds we were directed to the area roughly where the fairground was for the Castleford game which is not far from the stadium entrance but can be awful to exit the place.
People eventually made their own exit points which speeded things up.
