Fight looked a decent outfit, but I'm guessing (from my uninformed spectator point of view!) that if you've played anything like a decent amatuer standard in the UK you'll be fine playing over there.

(Obviously not asking on behalf of myself as I am touted as the next Sam Tomkins just late in development!).

What of you're a semi-decent merit league player? Any teams for the less talented?

I'm sure there are Wellsy. There's a new team in Baltimore that will need players and the Raiders based in NY are always on the lookout for more players.

THe new club in Balimore is run by Joe Pontiak, a great bloke with a Boston 13s tattoo. He will be glad of any help, on and off the pitch.

hi just out of curiosity are the clubs in the US pro, semi pro or amatuer? The standard is pretty high. However, I am old and useless and still get game time.

They are amateur and the players pay to play. The Axemen try to have a situation where their players are never out of pocket but don't make any money out of it either. Clubs will try to help with accomodation for overseas imports.

There isn't an official cap. Most teams usually have no more than 3, but I guess if you are in the USA then they won't turn you away. Like someone said, I guess the newer teams like Baltimore and Oneida would welcome a couple of experienced heads.is there a cap on the amount of import players a team can have

That is fair, though I have had generous expenses, I would not call it an income.
