I don't know where you get your information from Ref Sale but I know no one connected with the club who want to get into bed with them and after attending a fans forum earlier today at the stadium I can safely that the opposite applies.
I agree that Swinton sharing the ground would appeal to most people in the area as the better proposition.

Hmm seems my info is more reliable than yours.One to me I think!.So what now for Salford and Swinton as Sale move into the area picking up all the best young players and after our world cup in 2013 comes ru version in 2015 with plenty of big games planned in big northern cities this to me could be the beginning of the end for salford

Swinton Town Blues? sounds like a song by some old fella in New Orleans or summat.I wouldnt merge the clubs as both are two great clubs with lots of history and tradition.But ground share could be a good option maybe even have a couple of double headers a season . Maybe even rebrand Swinton lions and call them Swinton Town Blues to rival the Salford City Reds
